A delicious drink we tried one of our Friday nights. Feels like the love child of an amaretto sour and a Long Island Icetea.. We up the fruitiness of this one, with more Cointreau and more lime juice than the original recipe. Enjoy!

ree

  • 1 1/2 ounces light rum

  • 1 ounce Cointreau (original recipe is 1/2 ounce)

  • 1 ounce fresh lime juice (original recipe is 1/2 ounce)

  • 1 egg white

  • 1/2 ounce simple syrup

  • fresh mint sprig

  1. shake the liquid ingredients vigorously with ice.

  2. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass or over ice in an old-fashioned glass.

  3. Garnish with a mint sprig.
