Espresso Martini, Table 5

First, Dimitris is a coffee lover so this coffee cocktail was almost inevitably going to be on the list. Abby likes cold coffee; either a Greek 'freddo cappucino' or an espresso martini. Chosen for this table as a nod to Kirsty and Martin's wedding (these were served before dinner, to Abby's delight!).




  • 1 1/2 ounces vodka

  • 1/2 ounce of espresso

  • 1/2 ounce Kahlua

  • 1/2 ounce creme de cacao


  1. The most satisfying part of an Espresso Martini is the foam. To create this, firstly you need to tap and swirl the shaker after adding the ingredients.

  2. Shake the shaker hard for 20-30 seconds, this allows the natural oils in the coffee to combine with the air bubbles.

  3. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.

  4. Garnish with espresso beans.
